Say whether the tile has been removed
Loose broken tile ready for haul-off is different from flooring that still needs to come out. Describe the current stage and any mortar, backing or other material mixed in. Ask for demolition review if removal from the building is also needed.
Photograph the full pile and close views of the materials. If you know the original floor area, include it as useful context rather than treating square footage as a guaranteed load weight or price.
Plan around weight and access
Dense debris can require different handling from a similar-looking pile of household clutter. Tell Sandlot where the material sits, which floor it is on, and whether stairs, an elevator or a long carry lie between it and the truck.
Keep walkways clear and identify finished flooring that needs protection. Do not overfill containers or carry sharp, heavy material just to stage a photo. Ask the team how it wants the reviewed scope prepared.
Use real work to explain the result
Sandlot’s tile-and-drywall walkthrough shows debris in a room and a later cleared stage. It helps distinguish hauling a pile from preparing a surface for a flooring installer. Confirm which cleanup is included; do not assume grinding, leveling or new flooring work is part of haul-off.
