Plan your construction debris removal.

Sandlot loads and hauls non-hazardous lumber, drywall, roofing and jobsite scrap. This service fits material already removed from the building; tell the team separately if tear-out is still needed.

Show the material, not just the pile

A pile of drywall, a pile of tile and a pile of lumber can look similar in size but need different handling. List the materials present and take photos from two sides with a familiar object for scale. Give approximate pile dimensions without climbing into it.

If the job is still producing debris, say what is already ready and what will be added. An estimate based on today’s pile should not silently become a request for the rest of the remodel. Discuss any additional collection separately.

Keep heavy debris and hazards visible

Point out concrete, brick, tile, sharp material or oversized pieces before pickup. Ask whether material separation would help the loading and disposal plan. Do not bury paint, solvents, fuel containers, asbestos or other hazardous material inside a general construction load.

Sandlot does not haul hazardous materials. Where the contents or material condition are uncertain, describe the uncertainty and share existing reports; do not break or disturb a suspected hazardous material to identify it.

Plan around the active jobsite

Tell Sandlot where the truck can stop, how far the pile is from the loading position and whether trades will still be working. Keep agreed access routes clear. For an occupied property, identify surfaces and pedestrian routes that must be protected.

Ask whether your estimate covers loading, haul-off and the final sweep of the pickup area. If demolition must happen first, use the interior or concrete removal service so the complete scope is reviewed. Sandlot confirms timing according to the job and current schedule.

Can remodel debris go in city bulk pickup?

Rules vary by city and many programs restrict construction materials. Check your city’s current guidance before placing a pile at the curb; the service-area pages link to official local resources.
