Plan your garage, attic & estate cleanouts.

Sandlot handles the heavy removal work in garages, attics, basements, storage spaces and estate properties. Start by deciding what must be kept, what can leave and who has authority to make that decision.

Protect the things you cannot replace

Before the crew arrives, set aside documents, photographs, keys, jewelry and personal belongings. Label shelves or whole areas that are staying. In an estate property, use one agreed removal list so different family members do not give conflicting directions.

If a box has not been sorted, identify it as unsorted rather than assuming its contents are disposable. Sandlot provides a respectful cleanout; appraisal, estate administration and deciding ownership are separate responsibilities.

Scope the spaces separately

Photograph each garage bay, attic access, room and storage area you want cleared. Include the route between them. An attic reached by a small hatch or ladder needs different assessment from an open garage; describe access honestly and let the team confirm what is workable.

List furniture, appliances, boxes and building debris separately. Indicate whether a full property or only selected areas should be emptied. Unknown contents and inaccessible spaces may require an on-site look before the price can be confirmed.

Coordinate the handover

Tell Sandlot who will meet the crew, the target handover date and which rooms the next trade needs first. The team confirms the appointment after reviewing the scope. A date typed into the form does not reserve a crew.

Hazardous paint, fuels, solvents, chemicals, asbestos and medical waste are excluded. Set those aside for an appropriate disposal route. Usable belongings may be sorted for donation or recycling where practical, but acceptance and receipts should never be assumed.

Can I ask for only part of an estate property to be cleared?

Yes. Describe the rooms and items included and clearly mark everything that must stay. Sandlot reviews the specific removal scope before giving an estimate.
