Plan your residential junk removal.

Sandlot handles the lifting, loading and cleanup for household clutter, single bulky items and larger household loads. You identify what goes; the team reviews the amount and access before confirming a price.

Start with what goes, not a truck size

Make a simple inventory by room: two chairs in the living room, boxes in the spare room, a mattress upstairs. A wide photo shows the overall load; closer photos show heavy or awkward pieces hidden behind it. Include closets or side yards only if they belong in the request.

If some belongings stay, separate or label them clearly. A mixed pile takes more explanation than a cleared removal area, especially when an item looks like something being saved. You do not need to carry a sofa outside just to request an estimate.

Choose the right pickup route

A city bulk collection may be suitable when your items qualify, you can place them at the required curb location and the collection timing works. Sandlot is an option when you need lifting from inside, a larger cleanout or a scope that combines removal with demolition.

Municipal programs differ across the Phoenix area. Read the local program before placing anything outside. Do not assume construction debris, refrigerators or hazardous household products belong in an ordinary bulk pile.

What changes the estimate

The number and size of items matter, but so do stairs, narrow turns, carry distance and loading access. Tell Sandlot if a piece is unusually heavy, damaged or difficult to reach. A preferred date is a request until the team confirms it.

Usable items are sorted for donation or recycling where practical. Acceptance depends on condition and available outlets; neither donation nor a particular destination is guaranteed. Paint, fuels, solvents, asbestos, chemicals and medical waste are not accepted.

Do I have to move everything to the curb?

No. Sandlot’s published service includes lifting and loading. Tell the team where the items are and describe the access so that work can be included in the estimate.
