List every part of the bed
A mattress, box spring, base, headboard and frame are separate items in a removal scope. State which are going and whether the frame is still assembled. An adjustable base can change the work considerably compared with a mattress alone.
Send one photo of the complete bed and additional photos of items stored elsewhere. If a new bed is arriving, say which old parts must be removed before delivery and ask Sandlot to confirm a time. A request is not an appointment.
Describe condition and access
Tell the team about any condition that could affect handling before the visit. Do not conceal a problem beneath bedding or mix unidentified materials into the load. Sandlot reviews the items and access before agreeing to the job.
Mention stairs, narrow hallways and building loading rules. Remove personal bedding and clearly mark what stays. You do not have to move the bed to the curb to ask for an estimate.
Compare the available routes
Ask your replacement retailer whether its delivery includes taking away your particular old mattress, base and frame. Check the terms rather than assuming all bed parts qualify. Municipal collection is another possibility only when your actual provider accepts the items and its timing works.
