Identify the appliance and its connections
Send a full photograph and approximate dimensions. Say whether it is a freestanding kitchen refrigerator, a garage unit or a built-in appliance. Describe any water or other connections and whether it is still in use.
Do not assume disconnection, cabinet modification or installation of a replacement is included in haul-off. Ask what needs to be prepared and arrange appropriate qualified help for connections when required. Never cut or open refrigerant lines.
Plan the route before moving it
Photograph narrow doors, steps and the path to the truck. Tell the team about a long carry, a basement location or surfaces that need protection. A large appliance is not safely assessed by a room name alone.
